The year 2005 has been a period fraught with almost every known natural disaster: hurricanes, earthquakes, global warming. Now, just when it appears as if Mother Nature has cut us some slack from all her devastation, what should present itself to shatter the calm? My writing should be the only clue you’ll need for that riddle. That’s right, now comes the time to deal with that most unnatural of disasters – the US Tax Code.

So as we sit here waiting for global warming to turn Cape Cod Bay into the northern Caribbean, it’s time to gather your tax data. Toward that end, we’ll be e-mailing you your 2005 Tax organizers in a few days.

The Organizer package comes with full instructions for opening and completing the necessary forms. It also includes your 2004 tax data, which can be used as a guideline for collecting the appropriate 2005 information. When you’ve completed the Organizer, you can simply e-mail it back to us. Any supporting documents like W2’s and 1099’s, must be mailed, faxed or brought to us in person. If this method of collecting data doesn’t work for you, please let us know and we will be happy to send you a Tax Organizer in the traditional manner.
